Prioritize process on UNIX Systems

How to make that a process takes precedence over others.  How to make the CPU priority given to this process, the foregoing UNIX. 

Well, in this regard, there are two ways to do this: 

1.       Using the command “top” option “r” (renice) and indicating the number of the process (PID) that we want to prioritize. 

2.       Using the command “nice” from any commands console and at the same indicating the PID of the process that we want to prioritize.
